2-21. USE OF ALTERNATE INSTRUMENTS

There are alternate instruments that may be used in place of many of the ones we have discussed. When you get in the clinic you will discover others. What we hope to do here is give you some familiarity with the basic instruments and materials and the order in which they are used. When you get a permanent position, it will be your responsibility to add to the information we have given you so that you can efficiently assist the dentist.
